Darren Airey joins Elephant Loans as Business Development Manager from Loans.co.uk where he was previously employed as an underwriter. In his new role, Airey will be responsible for the development of secured loan, mortgage and commercial mortgage opportunities from the company’s affinity partners and financial intermediaries.
Sales Liaison Manager, Natalie Oliphant joins the company from The Mortgage Times where she was employed as a post offer co-ordinator. Oliphant is responsible for liaising between the Twickenham-based direct sales managers and the company’s lending partners, including packaging the cases for pay-out.
Elephant Loans has also appointed two new Underwriters to handle its increasing volume of introduced business. Nicky Beck, formerly of Bristol and West where she dealt with specialised lending, and Lucy Chapman, previously at SPPL, both join the underwriting team working on mortgages and secured loans.
Between them the new employees bring over 25 years worth of experience to the company. Gary Miller-Cheevers, Managing Director of Elephant Loans, commented: “The volume of business we’re handling has grown significantly over the last six months particularly since our direct and introduced business sections have been separated and our new direct office in Manchester has opened.
