As part of a restructuring of the regional sales operations in both the north and south of Ireland, Des Foley will concentrate his efforts on developing the em- interests in the Republic of Ireland, whilst Jamesina Maclaughlin will continue to provide the ‘one-to-one’ account management for the em- northern irish broker case. Simon Mouncher, Operations Director at em- stated: ‘We see the development of both the northern and southern irish markets as key tenets to the future of the em- business. With the new operational structure we have put in place, brokers will continue to receive excellent levels of customer service.
‘em-homeloans cases are already processed from the branded lending operations centre in Chester, moving forward the northern irish non-branded cases will now be processed in Teesside. In real terms this is already happening on a day-to-day basis as we manage our workflow across all of the em- operational centres. The
em-financial online application form will be going live in the 2nd quarter of 2005 and this will mean even greater flexibility in the operational process, resulting in quicker turnaround times and even higher customer service standards.’
October saw the number of residential applications increase to record levels, and em- expects this trend to continue strongly into 2005. Plus the introduction to the em- portfolio of commercial, secured, bridging, and Spanish propositions will see the em- business expand even further and provide the broker base with a complete packaging solution.
