The day will take place on 27 June in association with GMAC-RFC at Buckinghamshire Golf Club.
Already confirmed are snooker legend Steve Davis, rugby stars Will Greenwood and Kenny Logan, football manager and former player Nigel Spackman and Sky Sports stars Jeff Stelling and Rhodri Williams.
The celebrities will compete in teams of four with other attendees in a series of competitions throughout the day and will then take part in a charity auction to raise much needed funds for selected worthwhile causes. This year’s four chosen charities are: Habitat for Humanity, Cancer Research UK, MND Association and Treloar’s – each will receive a cut of all proceeds from the event.
To make sure they’re kept in tip top condition, the celebrities can also enjoy an Indian Head Massage at the course’s halfway house courtesy of students studying Health and Beauty at nearby Uxbridge College. The celebrities will also try to pot their luck at a Hole in One competition where if they manage a hole in one, they will win a Bentley Continental GT.
Stuart Brumhill, head of marketing at em-, commented: "All of the celebrities are very excited about playing such an important round of golf for these worthwhile causes and with high profile confirmed personalities attending from across the field of sport, such as Steve Davis and Nigel Spackman, this year’s event looks to be bigger and better than ever."
