A customised version of the full service is now available for intermediary firms, which enables clients and prospects to do their own research via the adviser’s website and produce comparative quotations before contacting the adviser for advice. This potentially reduces the time needed with each customer to complete the sales process. The service can also be set up to send an email alert that mirrors each quote request to the intermediary’s call centre or sales team to arrange a follow-up consultation.
Clients and prospects will be able to identify which products meet their needs based on personal data, property details and financial criteria. The results will be displayed in a simple tabular format that shows provider name, amount raised, interest rate, brief product details and the provider’s Safe Home Income Plans (SHIP) status.
The full version of the trading platform can now be branded and integrated into an intermediary’s own intranet or network member extranet service providing members with direct access to the service.
In addition to the research services listed above the full version of the trading platform enables intermediaries to link from the results table to produce instant client and product summary reports to support the advice process and is available via Exweb.
David Child, managing director at The Exchange, comments: “The Equity Release market has grown rapidly as a result of the buoyant house market and the poor performance of pension funds. Our unique trading platform for Equity Release products gives intermediaries access to this market by providing quotes and information to support their sales process. They can now make a branded version of this service available directly to their customers or network members to promote their expertise in this growing sector.”
