This proposition has been developed to enable brokers to service the significant, and growing, number of financially savvy consumers who prefer to shop online and who are committed to playing some role in sourcing their own financial solutions; a valuable incremental market that brokers have previously been unable to access.
EvaluateConsumer enables users to view best buys, complete and submit an enquiry, review and compare the results, complete the application and submit it to the mortgage intermediary online. It also encourages the user to request help from an intermediary on or off-line at any stage of the process.
The solution may be re-branded quickly and tailored according to the wishes of the intermediary partner. Full launch of the system will occur in January 2009.
Brokers who are interested in using the software to access this particularly lucrative and currently under-served market are encouraged to contact Evaluate for a free beta trial at www.evaluatetechnologies.com
Paul Fradgley, CEO at Evaluate Technologies, said: “This marks a very exciting period for Evaluate as this sourcing engine has been in development for the past two years and a substantial amount of investment has been made to ensure that is extremely fast and accurate.
This is now deployed within our consumer-facing proposition which finally offers web-savvy consumers the experience they are seeking; the ability to control as much of the mortgage process as the feel comfortable doing, whilst providing easy access to broker help throughout.
This provides forward-thinking brokers with a real opportunity to differentiate their proposition in a way that is meaningful to an already substantial market which is growing rapidly and typically both affluent and influential with their peers. Clients serviced in this way are likely to generate many high value referrals.”
Note - Beta testing allows software to undergo usability testing so that any malfunctions found in the software can be reported to the developers and fixed. Evaluate’s Beta programme will be time boxed for a period of two weeks. During this time users will be able to enter new enquiries, search available products, convert to application and much more. After the initial two weeks, the Beta site will be disabled while user feedback is obtained through a questionnaire. Improvements will then be made and the next version of the Beta will then be released allowing further testing and comments on any new functionality.
