The figures, which represent a 50% increase in completions over 2005, are also 25% higher than the previous best year in 2004. In the past 18 months, Exclusive Connections has undergone a strategic review under Matthew Arena, who was appointed as managing director in early 2005. The membership has been strengthened and is now at its highest ever level.
Along with a revamped product offering through a panel of over 20 lenders and new technology links between members and head office, Matthew Arena is confident that Exclusive Connections can go from strength to strength: “The hard work has paid off. With the hard work of our members, we have broken through the £2 billion barrier in completions but I do not expect that record to last for long.”
