Druce was at the P2P lender for almost two years.
Damien Druce (pictured) has left his role as director of intermediaries at P2P lender Assetz Capital to explore new opportunities in the specialist market.
Druce, who was unavailable to comment, was with the lender for close to two years before making the decision to leave.
A spokesperson from Assetz Capital, said: “Having spent almost two years with us, Damien Druce will be leaving the business in due course to pursue other opportunities.
“We are grateful for Damien’s hard work during his time here in various roles, and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
Druce has a strong pedigree in the intermediary space following a number of roles in the specialist market.
Mortgage Introducer understands that Druce is currently exploring a number of opportunities before making a decision on his next role.
Terry Pritchard, chief executive of brokerage Charter HCP, praised Druce for his time at Assetz and wished him the best for his next role.
He said: “Damien has been a champion for both the specialist market and the intermediary space.
“His decision to leave Assetz will surely leave big shoes to fill. He will be an asset to whichever business he chooses to join in the future.”
Assetz recently launched an express commercial range followed by a legal panel in Scotland.
