Mortgage Introducer understands that as director of origination, Blight will be responsible for landing new contracts for Crown and will have a special focus on equity release.

Blight was managing director for sales and marketing at GMAC RFC between 2004 and 2007 before becoming the lenders chief operating officer until 2010.
He was also chairman of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association in 2008.
Most recently Blight has been a director at Squarehill Risk Services, a specialist risk mitigation consultancy, which works with institutional investors on their interest-only mortgage books.
