MAB is thought to be in “final stage” discussions with CDS to roll out its The Core across the network.
CDS Group was launched last year by Peter Heigho, one of the original designers of the Trigold mortgage sourcing system and ‘The Key’ CRM system now owned by Mortgage Brain.
Peter Brodnicki, chief executive of MAB, would not confirm whether the network would drop Trigold but admitted he had been in talks with both CDS and Mortgage Brain as part of an ongoing review.
He said: “We are still with Trigold at the moment but I can say we have been speaking to CDS recently and over the past 12 months we have spoken to everyone in the market.
“We are reviewing what we’re doing and where we’re going and I can say that we haven’t dismissed CDS by any stretch of the imagination. We think The Core is a good system.”
Richard Hurst, marketing director at CDS, said the firm had spoken to most players in the market and felt The Core was “getting exceptional feedback”.
Trigold chief executive, Jon Whitmore, confirmed at the moment they continue to supply MAB.
CDS Group recently announced a distribution agreement with IFA CRM supplier Durrell Software.
