Earls Court & Olympia Group has sold the UK’s largest independent exhibition organiser to Clarion’s management team, led by Managing Director Simon Kimble and backed by private equity group HG Capital.
The management buyout offers the opportunity for Clarion Events to continue its expansion in the United Kingdom while maintaining its special relationship with EC&O. Under the terms of the deal, EC&O and Clarion have made long term commitments to continue working together to develop both existing Clarion shows and new opportunities. Clarion Events will also remain headquartered in Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
