The organisers of Mortgage Business Expo Manchester, which took place on the 16th and 17th of May at Manchester Central, have today (29th May) announced that a record number of delegates visited the show over the two days.
Visitor numbers this year hit 2,670 (organiser’s statement prior to submission to ABC), 10% up on the 2006 Show which attracted 2,421 visitors (ABC audited). Mortgage Business Expo Manchester’s visitor numbers will now be audited by ABC before receiving accreditation.
Daniel Nwaokolo, Mortgage Business Expo Manchester Show Director, said:
“We are delighted to report a 10% increase in visitors to this year’s Manchester Expo. The 2,670 figure is our statement prior to submission to ABC and we will be releasing our official ABC audited figures as soon as we receive accreditation.
“The number of delegates attending the Manchester Expo proves the growing importance of the Show to mortgage intermediaries and IFAs in the North of England. Delegates were able to access over 140 exhibitors, up from 115 last year, with a particular focus on the specialist markets. Our new Equity Release and International Property Investment Pavilions also proved popular, as did the new Secured Loans Seminar Theatre.
“We now begin building towards our London show in November at Earl’s Court. Throughout the summer we will be undertaking a process of engagement with stakeholders to ensure we receive and use feedback from visitors, exhibitors and the wider financial services industry. It is our intention to build on the positives of previous shows and deliver the show the market both wants to exhibit at and attend. We look forward to welcoming both visitors and delegates to the London show.”
