Organisers Clarion Events have invested in forward looking touch-screen technology that will highlight relevant stands when visitors list their interests.
This latest touch-screen technology is intended to ensure that visitors do not miss any exhibitors that would be relevant to them. For exhibitors, it also helps increase the volume of relevant visitors to the stand.
Clarion will site kiosks with touch-screens at the show entrance, where visitors will input their own data and receive personalised event planners. The solution provides a robust, accurate and speedier registration solution, so registration times and queuing will be reduced and no forms to fill in. There will also be kiosks positioned around the Expo, where visitors can effectively and simply search for relevant exhibitors and quickly find the location of their stands.
Research amongst visitors to the London Mortgage Expo in November showed that visitors most wanted to talk to product providers and to learn about new products, as well as networking with industry contacts.
Show Director Andy White said: “With over 100 exhibitors it is important that brokers use their time effectively and are able to target the right exhibitors. Quite often people learn about relevant stands and exhibitors once the exhibition is over. We are confident that this new registration and event management solution will improve the visitor experience and ensure exhibitors are meeting more of the right people.”
