Flower joins MAB

This move will see the 15+ flower advisers gain access to the support services and distribution strength offered by MAB.

Greg May, director of flower, said: “Finding the right commercial and cultural partner was key to our decision making process and we undertook an extensive review of all potential networks before choosing MAB.

"We share the same entrepreneurial spirit and MAB fully support our growth aspirations. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship.”

Peter Brodnicki, chief Executive of Mortgage Advice Bureau, added: “flower typifies the quality of organisation that MAB has been able to attract: it is ambitious, very keen to try new ideas and systems, sees the enormous potential for protection sales, and wants to build a proposition to be able to attract the best advisers in its area, which is essential for any market leading business. It will be a pleasure working with the team at flower as we are all driven to achieve the very highest possible standards.

“Our experience as a marketing leading broker has helped us attract some very high quality businesses to MAB, and as with flower, we are seen and position ourselves more as a strategic partner rather than a network.”

Agreement was reached after a lengthy decision making process whereby flower actively reviewed a number of leading UK mortgage networks before selecting MAB.

Flower provides financial services to the Romans Group and MAB’s comprehensive national offering – combined with their deep understanding of the estate agency marketplace – was a significant factor in the decision making process.

The move brings the number of advisers within the MAB network to over 500, ending a successful year which has included highlights such as 23 adviser new build AR Mortgage Bureau joining forces with MAB, and the acquisition of Mortgage Talk and Sherwins early this year.
