The new toolkit gives advisers access to sales aids, online seminars, guides and technical fact sheets. The support material aims to help advisers sell more Business Protection and assist them to highlight the importance of protecting their clients’ businesses.
Advisers can access the following new items in the toolkit:
• Three new checklists, designed to guide advisers through the Business Protection sales process
• A business risk report, to help advisers assess their clients’ Business Protection needs
• Sales aids, intended to make it easier for advisers to highlight the need for Business Protection with their clients.
Ed Stuart-Brown, head of protection sales at Friends Provident, said: “We’ve developed this new Business Protection toolkit based on feedback from advisers, who found that our Income Protection toolkit simplified their sales process. Both the new toolkit and support material will help advisers to sell more Business Protection. We are planning to develop more toolkits in the future.”
