Effective from September 2005 Jefferies brings a wealth of experience to the role having been at Friends Provident for over twenty years. Reporting to the director of marketing, Jefferies new responsibilities will include developing Friends Provident's
position as a leading protection provider in the UK.
This will incorporate management of the protection proposition for the IFA market and Appointed Representatives.
Jefferies was in his current role as head of investment marketing for three years and was in charge of managing Friends Provident's position in the UK savings and investment market.
Prior to this, Jefferies was an IFA sales consultant and then a regional manager at Friends Provident. Ian is an economics graduate from Edinburgh University.
