Roadshows aim to help small firms understand common areas which are currently topical and relevant to them. They are run by FSA staff who supervise small firms and are a high-level view of topical issues and findings from recent FSA work. They will also cover Treating Customers Fairly and principles-based regulation. Places for the roadshows can be booked online on the FSA website.
The FSA is committed to providing help to small firms and making the FSA easier to do business with. The FSA has already introduced targeted information and resources for small firms as part of its ongoing commitment to make it easier to do business with. These include small firms application packs, a single invoice for all fees, payments by instalments, e-learning packages, a more targeted website for small firms (www.fsa.gov.uk/smallfirms), roadshows, surgeries and improvements at the Firm Contact Centre.
