GE has developed a range of marketing activities to support the Regulatory Alliance of Mortgage Packagers (RAMP) ‘lender of the month’ scheme. The campaign is designed to reward RAMP’s dedicated membersin both May and June.
In addition, GE will be offering an experienced member of its sales team onsite with packagers once a week, as well as monthly clinics, ‘employee of the month’ prizes and marketing materials.
Key features of the initiative include fixed rate no overhang and mortgages based on affordability, as well as wider finance products such as unsecured loans. The GE range is revised on a regular basis to ensure it remains relevant and competitive.
Duncan Berry, director first mortgage sales, GE, said: “Our new initiative sends a clear message to the market that GE supports the packager community as a whole. As part of the ‘lender of the month’ campaign, our aim is to reward RAMP’s members by offering exclusive propositions, prizes, monthly clinics and onsite presence. This level of communication with RAMP’s members enables packagers to benefit from products and services that meet the needs of their customers.”
John Rice, managing director of RAMPsaid: "We have been working with GE closely for some time on a range of initiatives. They have been working hard to deliver an improved propositionfor packagers and we are now seeing the benefits in terms of increasing volumes being produced for them. I expect this to continue as GE gain a more significant share of the UK market."
