The Peterborough-based team is responsible for providing field support to the company’s Appointed Representatives in the run-up to FSA mortgage regulation and thereafter. The new appointees are: Caroline McCormick, Garrett O'Reilly and Mark Branton, who all join from AMP Pearl; John Sprigg, formerly of Home Loan Partnership and Britannic Assurance; and Philip Neville and Alan Reynolds, who moves as a result of internal promotion. All six are FPC 1,2,3 and CeMAP qualified.
Frank Thurlby, Head of Compliance at Genesis, says: “Brokers will be working with unfamiliar rules and regulations from November and so will need the practical support of field-based compliance experts to smooth the transition to working within a regulated environment. We are set on providing a first-class service in the run-up to Mortgage Day and beyond, so we have recruited individuals with plenty of experience in this area.”
