The GI section of the GHL website offers brokers access to buildings, contents, Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI) as well as a specialist insurance scheme – LetPlan – designed for buy-to-let landlords. Information on each of these products is available to view along with details of the commission payable for each type of policy.
When submitting new business, brokers are given the option of either utilising the ‘Quote & Buy’ function to provide their client with a full advice and recommendation service, or to simply ‘Introduce’ them to Hanover Park Commercial where this service is provided on their behalf. Both of these methods are conducted online and in each case the broker will receive a procuration fee payment for their business.
To coincide with the launch of this new service, GHL Group and Hanover Park Commercial are running a competition, which gives brokers the chance of qualifying for a trip to Hong Kong. To be included in the competition, brokers must have submitted 200 policy applications before 31 December 2006.
John Smith, sales & marketing director for GHL Group, commented: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to build a strong working relationship with Hanover Park Commercial as their products are both highly competitive, and in the case of LetPlan, unique in the marketplace.
"We are certain this new alliance will be well received by our network members, and that the use of these general insurance products will rapidly become an integral part of their sales process as well as providing them with a valuable new income stream.”
