Earlier this year, the group employed two additional members of staff for their Placements Department as a direct result of the increase in new business enquires received via the web based DIP. Now, just over 6 months on, two new employees have been recruited for the Processing Department as a result of the higher volume of cases being received by GHL Group.
Applications submitted by the network’s Appointed Representatives (ARs) and Directly Authorised (DAs) brokers are dealt with by the department from initial receipt through to legal completion and this latest move is aimed at ensuring the current turnaround times and high levels of service are maintained.
Based at the Maidstone office, the new case administrators will join the existing team in processing cases from the 15 lenders on the group’s packaged lender panel, which includes many big names such as Bristol & West, First National, GMAC, Mortgages plc and Platform.
Both staff members bring a wealth of mortgage experience with them to the busy processing team, with one having most recently worked as a fully CeMAP qualified mortgage consultant working with a national estate agency, whilst the other has left a senior role working with a firm providing and processing lifetime mortgages.
Commenting on the new staff, John Smith, sales & marketing director at GHL Group said: “The addition of two more Case Administrators is particularly pleasing as it not only illustrates the value of our online DIP service, but also our commitment to continue providing the high levels of service that our brokers have come to expect. The number of DIPs we have received has risen quite dramatically since its launch last year, and it was only natural that this would lead to increased business levels and in turn the need for more staff.”
