BBG CPS, part of the Bradford & Bingley Group, has been appointed to provide valuation, possession and sales and marketing services as well as providing GMAC-RFC, part of the General Motors group of companies, with consolidated invoicing, management information and third party supplier
management for properties in possession. The contract commences immediately.
BBG CPS is the UK's leading provider of repossession management services
and acts for a broad range of high street banks and building societies as
well as centralised and foreign lenders.
Commenting on the appointment Mike Spencer, General Manager of BBG CPS
said: "We are particularly pleased to have been appointed as one of
GMAC-RFC's suppliers following an intensive and highly competitive
tendering process.
"We have been providing maintenance services for GMAC-RFC's repossessed
properties since November 2002, having launched our own maintenance
division earlier in the year to introduce both cost savings and
efficiencies in this area as a result of our experience and volume leverage
in the contractor management market. We now look forward to supporting
GMAC-RFC with our full asset management service."
David Bottling, Director of Customer Services, at GMAC-RFC: "Our
appointment of BBG comes after an established business relationship that we
have with them, and we look forward to working with them in the future."
