Higgins joins from Global Home Loans, where he was chief financial officer, and will immediately join the GMAC-RFC Executive Board, reporting to Bill Acheson, managing director of finance.

Sebastian Maloney is also promoted to head of business analysis reporting to Chris Higgins. Maloney, who joined GMAC-RFC in February 2005 as business analysis manager, replaces Ian Lonergan in that role, who will be leaving to join edeus later in the year.
Acheson added: “Sebastian has been one of the main driving forces behind our respected business analytics programme and his promotion is well deserved. We also wish Ian Lonergan the best of luck at edeus: Ian was looking for more responsibility so we understand his wish to try a start up, particularly one that returns him to his home base in the Midlands.”
