The firm has promoted three of its key executives – David Botting, Chris Kujawa and Craig Beresford – as well as appointing Stephen Hynes as structured finance director.
These follow on from the recent appointment of Simon Knight as chief executive officer, and reflect his long term planning for the organisation.
David Botting, managing director, Operations, and Chris Kujawa, director, Human Resources will both report to Simon Knight. Craig Beresford – who has been promoted to the newly created position of trading director – and Stephen Hynes will both report to Jeff Lundgren, mnaging drector, Finance.

David Botting has been with GMAC-RFC for five years and has worked for GE Capital and Alliance & Leicester previously. Chris Kujawa has worked for GMAC-RFC in the UK for three years and joined from the US parent company, where he had held a number of senior positions. Craig Beresford has been with GMAC-RFC for four years and has very significant experience in the Capital Markets sector. Stephen Hynes has worked in the securitisation market for nearly twenty years, nine of which have been with GMAC-RFC.

In addition, GMAC-RFC has also announced that Barry Searle will be departing the company to pursue alternative opportunities.
