The partnership between the two companies has been evolving since September 2006 when Goldsmith Williams was appointed as the sole legal services provider for the em- fasttrack remortgage 'Fees Free Plus' product.
The scheme, which launches on 12 March, will enable em- to offer intermediaries access to a dedicated, reputable firm of legal experts for purchase, sale, buy-to-let and remortgage cases. The branded conveyancing service will provide brokers with an opportunity to earn up to £200 legal and administration fee for every completed case.
Benefits afforded directly to brokers through the scheme include highly competitive prices, guaranteed 10 day offer-to-completion turnaround time on standard remortgages, and no upfront or abortive fees on remortgages. In addition, brokers will be able to take advantage of GWLive, Goldsmith Williams' software which allows brokers to open cases instantly, have 24-hour access to case information, and view up-to-the-minute management reports.
