The event will be held at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre, Millwall Dock.
This will be an annual event so it will appeal to the competitive spirit in the City and Docklands firms!
There is also the opportunity to incorporate one or two inter-department races if desired and of course there will be PRIZES!
Teams of 20 from an organisation are needed for each boat. No previous experience is necessary and a qualified helmsman is provided. All crews will be supplied with buoyancy jackets which must be worn but it is recommended that each crew member should be able to swim 50m in light clothing.
The cost is £50 per head for each rower to include a BBQ meal and a donation to the 2 charities. BBQ tickets are available on the evening at £15 per head for supporters. A 50% deposit (£500 per boat) is required when booking with the balance due 2 weeks before the event.
