Clients of Habitus can, for example, log in to the website and monitor the progress of a survey that they have ordered as well as the legal work that is being undertaken to acquire the home.
It is part of the Habitus Home Move Service. Through the Habitus website, consumers can arrange all the professional services they need to get them from offer to completion - surveys, property searches and conveyancing – and get a free quote of the costs involved. A Habitus Home Moving Advisor manages and co-ordinates the professional services of all the local providers involved in the transaction: the surveyor, solicitor and the estate agent.
Habitus chief executive officer Brendan Doyle said: “Buying or selling home is a very stressful experience for many people. We hope that our new online tracking facility will go some way to reducing that and enable them to get from offer to completion with ease.”
