Following yesterday's decision by the Monetary Policy Committee to reduce the Bank of England Bank Rate by 0.50% to 0.50%, Halifax will pass the full 0.50% reduction on to existing tracker mortgage customers from 1st April 2009. Halifax will also reduce its SVR from 4.00% to 3.50% at the same time.
