A direct response to broker feedback, the site section provides easy access to products and services from Banco Halifax Hispania, Halifax's Spanish arm.
Brokers are also able to download application forms and access soft copy Agreements in Principle (AIPs) which can be issued via email. Mortgage application forms and supporting documentation will be accepted by fax.
All dealings between Banco Halifax Hispania and brokers can be carried out in English and its dedicated helpline will help guide brokers through the process.
Ian Andrews, national intermediary sales manager for Banco Halifax Hispania said: "There is growing demand for this service amongst the broker community. The number of people buying abroad has risen more than 60 per cent from 129,000 in 2000/2001. 211,000 English households own a second home outside the UK, 34 per cent of which are in Spain."
