This new service will help customers avoid delays as the legal work can begin as soon as the property is placed on the market, reducing the time from a sale being agreed to exchange of contracts.
The new service offers customers a fixed fee for all their legal work, 24-hour sale tracking via the internet and a no sale - no fee guarantee. The service is competitively priced, with legal fees of around £300 for properties below £100,000. Customers benefit by not having to spend time finding a solicitor and they can deal with one office for the whole process if they wish.
The service has previously been piloted in a number of branches and the feedback from customers has been excellent. First-time buyers have found the service particularly useful as many of them have not dealt with solicitors before and can be confused by the process and the terminology used.

The legal work begins at a much earlier stage and the customer has the convenience of only having to deal with one office throughout the process."
This tailor-made service is being offered in conjunction with three conveyancing companies, Legal Marketing Services, Simply Conveyancing and Title Absolute.
