Hill has been part of the Hannover Re Group since 2003 and rejoins after four years to lead the company and build on its successful position in the UK market.
He has over 30 years of experience in the life assurance industry and held senior positions in direct offices and consultancy including roles as a director and appointed actuary prior to joining Hannover in 2003 as general manager - marketing.
In this role he had overall responsibility for all client operations including actuarial pricing, marketing, underwriting and business development.
Hill left the UK group in 2008 to take up the position of managing director for Hannover Life Re Africa.
His knowledge and leadership supported the successful development of the company to its position of the leading reinsurer of individual business and a passion for fostering relationships and providing innovative and progressive reinsurance structures.
