Emily Smith (pictured) has been appointed as Harpenden Building Society’s head of distribution and marketing.

 

In this newly created position she will take responsibility for developing the society’s profile and reach, providing brokers with additional access to Harpenden’s lending products and services.

She has joined following 15 years with Hinckley and Rugby Building Society, where she held underwriting, business development and sales roles, concluding as the society’s national account manager.

Raj Bains, director of operations at Harpenden Building Society, said: “We are delighted that Emily will lead our distribution and marketing function, ensuring brokers have good, ongoing opportunities to introduce their customers to our portfolio of lending products.
