The contract, which commences on 1 June, was won in an open tender against a number of other UK suppliers. The three-year contract appoints eConveyancer as the preferred supplier of online conveyancing services to HBOS intermediaries.
Nigel Hoath, managing director of eConveyancer, said: “Being chosen as the preferred supplier to HBOS is great news. The company’s philosophy has always been to listen carefully to feedback from intermediaries and develop our system to provide a range of flexible options. Clearly our approach was right. We look forward to working with the HBOS team during 2007 and beyond.”
Alan Dring, sales director for eConveyancer, said: “We are delighted to be awarded this contract. HBOS represent the largest potential volume of new business. We are proud to have the endorsement of the UK’s leading mortgage group. The whole team at eConveyancer is on a high and we can’t wait to start working with HBOS.”
Nina Morton-Brook, head of legal products at HBOS, said: "Congratulations to eConveyancer who were successful after our rigorous tender process. The eConveyancing system is quick and easy to use and already well proven in the marketplace. We are confident that eConveyancer is the right company to provide the HBOS Group with a conveyancing solution.”
