He brings over 20 years of financial services experience to the role
HLPartnership (HLP) has appointed Matt Brown (pictured) as its new propositions director, the mortgage and protection network announced.
Brown brings over 20 years of experience in financial services to the role, most recently serving as head of proposition at PRIMIS Mortgage Network. During his tenure at PRIMIS, he focused on enhancing broker relationships and developing intermediary market propositions.
Prior to joining PRIMIS, Brown was national account manager at eConveyancer for three years, where he played a key role in expanding broker and distributor partnerships. His career began at NatWest, where he spent 14 years in various leadership roles in branch banking and the mortgage division, gaining substantial industry knowledge.
Commenting on his appointment, Brown expressed enthusiasm about his new position.
“I am delighted to be joining HLP at a time of significant opportunity for the network,” he said. “Having worked closely with HLP in the past, I know the business is built on strong values and an unwavering commitment to its advisers. With the recent investment from BetterHomes Group, the potential for growth is exciting, and I look forward to being part of HLP’s ongoing success.”
Christopher Tanner, chief executive of HLPartnership, welcomed Brown to the leadership team.
“His depth of experience, particularly in developing strong broker relationships, will help us further strengthen our offering to advisers,” he said. “Matt’s commitment to customer outcomes and his understanding of the intermediary market are closely aligned with our values at HLP.”
Earlier this month, HLPartnership announced the appointment of Preeti Ferrier as its new regional sales manager for the South, helping firms expand their market presence in the region. Prior to this, Peter Curran joined the network’s board as partnerships director.
