He will report to Steve Haggerty, who has been appointed Chairman following his promotion to Group Commercial Director, Skipton Building Society.
Mark Smith has many years of experience of the financial services industry. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer for the Retail Banking Division of Barclays, prior to which he was Retail Director at Lloyds TSB.
