Andrews joins HML after ten years with RBS in its insurance division where he held a number of senior operations roles with Direct Line Group, and in credit cards and lending with RBS European Consumer Finance.
His 25 year financial services career has also seen him work for Natwest, Capital One and Lombard North Central.
Andrews said: “HML is a business with excellent operational capability and a well-established change management function. I’m looking forward to leading the teams through changes that lie ahead in HML’s key markets in a way that continues to generate value for our clients.”
Andrew Jones, HML’s chief executive who has overseen the creation of the new team since his appointment in February, added: “Bob’s extensive experience of operations in a blue chip organisation will add further depth and expertise to what is already a very credible executive team.”
In another development, IT director Kim Brien has been promoted to HML’s executive team in the role of chief information officer with immediate effect.
Brien has been with the outsourcer for seven years and has overseen significant investment in HML’s servicing platform, HML iCONNECT.
