Former head of mortgages at The Nottingham joins Cardiff-based bank
Hodge Bank has announced that Christie Cook (pictured) has joined its senior management team as managing director of retail.
Cook was the former head of mortgages at Nottingham Building Society and occupied head of product roles with Glenhawk Financial Services and the Bank of Ireland. She was also a former operations manager for Kensington Mortgages and Lehmans.
In her new role at Hodge, she will be leading on all mortgages and savings related business, covering off product, distribution, marketing, customer origination, underwriting, and first line risk issues in the process.

Cook, who has made a return to Wales after 17 years living in Woking, Surrey, said she was excited to be joining Hodge during what was a key period of development within the organisation.
“I’m also delighted to be back in Wales and working with such a well-respected organisation based in the heart of the Welsh capital, as one so synonymous with the financial services heritage of my homeland,” she added.
“In return, I’ll be looking to draw on the experience I have built up within the banking sector to date to further support Hodge as it continues on its current trajectory both commercially and culturally speaking.”
