The “mi-Zone” (mortgage and insurance zone) system has been trialled with a number of Home Buyer users and is now ready to be rolled out on a wider basis. It is an online sales and admin system for mortgages and insurance, giving advisers the ability to provide an admin system for direct deals as well as intermediary products. It works by automatically creating an email address that ensures that all correspondence goes to mi-Zone and can be seen by the customer and dealt with by the adviser.
A version has also been developed for mortgage introducers, called mi-Zone Introducer, that allows introducers such as estate agents to send leads to the adviser. This is in the form of a short factfind which pre-populates Home Buyer System, which is therefore ready to start sourcing immediately.
Mi-Zone gives brokers’ customers the ability to check the progress of their mortgage and insurances without the need to bother the adviser. In addition, introducers can add notes to the customer records and check progress. All of these admin functions ensure that mi-Zone is used as the area that keeps a complete record of what all parties need to know or update.
