The special trial period ends on 2 January 2009 and brokers wishing to take advantage of this one-off opportunity to trial HBSLite for a fortnight need to apply via the website: www.homebuyersystems.com.
HBSLite, is a simplified version of the full Home Buyer System that enables mortgage advisers to source direct-to-lender products in addition to intermediary-based products from the whole-of-market Defaqto database. HBSLite also provides all the documentation needed to make an FSA-compliant recommendation to a customer, including the IDD, KFI, proof of research and Suitability Letter. In addition, if the adviser is to provide an administration service to the customer, then HBSLite generates a letter of authority informing the lender that the customer gives the adviser the authority to act on their behalf.
HBSLite also generates a fee agreement to be signed by the customer and placed with their solicitor to ensure payment at completion. It also incorporates a secure payment system that enables advisers to collect the customer’s fee via their debit or credit card. Probably the most important new innovation has been the introduction of an analysis that cleverly handles the often difficult subject of charging fees.
