"The RICS survey is further evidence that the market is over the worst and making a sustained recovery, as buyer demand returns and pressure on supply increases.
"Taking all the house price data together, it is clear to see that prices are firming and I expect to see continuous positive growth in UK house prices across the board in the last quarter of this year.
"Extreme supply limitations and the recent introduction of some interesting new first time buyer mortgage products will support market recovery and it is likely we will see a flurry of higher loan to value rates released as soon as it is widely recognised that the market has stabilised and the risk to the banking sector of further housing equity losses has diminished."
