Personal and family matters have been cited as the reason for her departure, which will take effect from 30 November 2007.
Kate started working with Advantage in 2004, following a successful career as the founder of a leading advertising and marketing agency. Kate has been a dynamic and pro-active member of the management team that built Advantage into a successful and innovative lender.
Leading all of the marketing activities for the company, Kate has devised and delivered high levels of both brand awareness and positive brand perception for Advantage, to enable the company to establish itself as a specialist lender in the financial intermediary sector. Throughout her time with Advantage Kate has also planned and executed insightful and high impact campaigns that have consistently delivered positive commercial results for the company.
Kate said that her time at Advantage had been a very enjoyable period of her life, and that she will miss greatly her team and the many people with whom she has worked: “I have worked for the last 25 years and am sure that the foundations I have laid and the depth of my experience will allow a career break for a few months. It is too easy to be swept along in the cut and thrust of everyday commercial life and to forget the real priorities. It has not been an easy decision, but it is one that I know is appropriate right now”.
Mark Clarke, Advantage chief executive officer, said “We’ll all miss Kate enormously. Her contribution at Advantage has been significant, and her dedication to Advantage a great benefit. I am sure we will benefit from her work, and the marketing platform that she has created, for many years to come. We wish Kate well, are sorry to see her leave us, and wish her and her family the very best”.
