Mortgage and investments firm Castle Trust is kicking off the search to mark its launch on 1st October.
Entrants are being asked to explain by Friday 28th September – in a tweet – why they value their adviser’s help.
This could be for investment, savings or a home move, or simply for ongoing high quality advice.
To make matters trickier, entries will have to include the hashtag #CTgoodadvice, although the name of the adviser will not have to be included in the tweet.
The best entrant, as judged by Castle Trust, and his or her adviser will both win the newly launched iPod touch 5.
Castle Trust’s Partnership Mortgages will be available only through accredited mortgage advisers after the 1st October launch and applicants for HouSA investments will also be encouraged to seek independent financial advice.
Castle Trust CEO Sean Oldfield said the firm wanted to promote the importance of independent professional advice.
He said: “It’s a bit of fun and, with tweets limited to 140 characters, it will test the creative skills of the Great British public.
“But there’s a serious message behind this too – professional and independent financial advice has never been more important and we want to celebrate the important work advisers do to help people make the right decisions about their money.”
