IFAP has added the full spectrum of product-specific papers for AFPC, as well as the Pensions Management Institute professional qualification (APMI).
To support this development, IFAP is contacting member IFAs, urging those holding any of the 38 incremental qualifications listed by IFAP (especially the newly-added papers) to inform them. The details will then be verified with the relevant awarding body and made available for consumers to search on.
The searchable qualifications on IFA Promotion’s service - used by nearly half a million people a year - now span savings and investment, pension, mortgage, tax, long-term care and corporate advice, as well as generic financial planning qualifications. This is a timely move as the Skills Council with its ‘appropriate examinations’ has just taken over the FSAs ‘approved examination’ regime.
