One of these sessions will be an interactive panel session. Taking part as panellists with Davidson will be Sandy Robertson, managing director, Acumen Financial Planning, Mike Godfrey, managing director of FS3, and Adrian Smith, managing director of Adrian Smith and Partners. The session will focus on the results achieved by UK based adviser firms who have invested in transition planning and moved to a ‘new model adviser’ method of working.
The IFP conferance is being held on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 October at The Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicester.
Brett Davidson, managing director at FP Advance, commented: “I am delighted to have been invited to head up the these sessions at such an important conference and am very excited by the challenge it presents, giving advisers a real insight into the experiences of firms who have successfully and profitably made the transition to what is undoubtedly, the new business model of the future. I look forward to a lively and interactive session with my colleagues.”
Nick Cann, chief executive at the Institute of Financial Planning, added: “The IFP has been delighted with the work that FP Advance has done with us to date. In the time that Brett has been in the UK, he has made a huge impact on the financial services market place at a time when more and more firms need support to transition to a fee-based financial planning business. I am sure these sessions will be most popular at the conference.”
