With more than 20 years experience in the financial services sector having held senior positions within strategic development, relationship management and product development roles within NatWest and RBS. In 2004 he joined Henley Management College, where he gained his MBA, as Market Development Director with responsibility for developing tailored MBA programmes and extending the range of executive development programmes. In 2006 he was appointed Director of International Business, repositioning Henley's international representation and building partnership activities.
Day said, “I am delighted to be embarking upon this fresh challenge, particularly as the ifs School of Finance is currently in the process of applying for taught degree awarding powers. I am keen to play a part in the next phase of our development as an independent body with degree-awarding powers responding quickly and effectively to the educational needs of the financial services sector. I will also be seeking to further enhance our existing collaborative arrangements with Higher Education Institutions such as the University of Manchester and the University of Kent as well as building our international activities.”
Gavin Shreeve, chief executive of the ifs School of Finance, said: “Martin brings a wealth of experience from his time as International Business Director at Henley Management College.
