Students studying for either the Certificate for Financial Advisers (CeFA®) or the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) will be most affected by the new legislation.
The ifs has launched its redesigned Competence Development Tool (CDT) CD Rom in both the CeFA® and CeMAP® versions.
Mark Roberts, head of faculty financial regulation at the ifs, said: “Preparations for A-Day have been underway for some time and it is essential for both qualified advisers and those studying for professional exams to be up-to-date with the new regulations.
“The redesigned Competence Development Tool enables advisers to test their knowledge of the new rules in the post A-Day environment.”
