The move has mystified one appointed representative within the network, who said he and his colleagues saw Neale as a pivotal part of First Complete.
They said: “For most of us he 'was the network' and improved all of our businesses so it’s amazing First Complete would let him go.
“[It’s] very unsettling for us AR's!”
In an email to “all Midlands region brokers” on Friday last week Richard Coulson, business development director at First Complete, wrote: “I am writing to you to make you aware that Jason Neale has decided to pursue a development opportunity outside of First Complete and has therefore resigned. Whilst I am sad to see Jason go, this is a great opportunity for him and I wish him well in his new venture.
“Jason will be leaving with effect from 31st August and I know he will have spent time contacting you all to make you aware of his move and introduce Martin Igoe as the new regional sales director for the Midlands region. Martin is another talented and respected individual who I am proud to have within my sales director team.
“I would of course like to take this opportunity to wish Jason all the very best for his future and thank him for his vast and dedicated contribution to this business – ‘thank you mate’.”
Toni Smith, sales operations director at First Complete, added: “Martin has an outstanding record, not only in recruitment but in the development of those firms he works with, which helps them to grow and reach their potential. In the 18 months that he has been with First Complete he has made a very considerable impact and with his wealth of experience he will make a very positive contribution to the ARs throughout the Midlands.”
