The new KFI production facilities are now live on both iZone (igroup’s online application processing system) and First Nat Online (First National’s interactive website).
Additionally, intermediaries are offered a ‘web service’ to produce KFIs directly from their own systems (no re-keying required) without having to go through one of the above websites.
All brokers have been informed of the new facility, along with detailed instructions and step-by-step guides on how to use them and how the system works. In the final run up to M-Day, the move illustrates how igroup and First National are doing everything possible to make processes as straight forward as possible for intermediaries before the onset of regulation.
Sean Webb, chief commercial officer for GE Consumer Finance Home Lending, said: “We see this system as not only a necessity for FSA compliance, but also for the increased speed and efficiency of our brokers’ business. We are dedicated to intermediary relationships and making processes easier in order to deliver what they, and ultimately, their customers want. Through the provision of constant, transparent information on our processes and operations, our brokers can monitor their business with us anytime, anywhere.
“In addition, we will continue to work with key sourcing systems on the production of ‘offline’ KFIs for our products post regulation.”
