The trade body now has a combined total of 65 full and associate members
The Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA) has announced the addition of Pegasus Insight to its list of associate members.
Pegasus Insight was set up last May to supply a full range of research and consultancy services to provide insight and direction for its clients, with a focus on the financial and professional services sectors.
The business will be represented by founder and managing director Mark Long, who had a long career with consumer and business insight consultancy BVA BDRC.
“It is a great pleasure to welcome Pegasus as the latest associate member of IMLA,” stated Kate Davies (pictured), executive director at the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association. “We have worked closely with Mark since he and his former team created IMLA’s Mortgage Market Tracker in 2015.
“We look forward to working with Pegasus as they bring their perspective to our discussions on the key business issues facing intermediary-based mortgage lenders.”
Long said: “I’m delighted that Pegasus Insight has been accepted as an associate member of IMLA. The group does a really excellent job of representing and promoting lender views.
“As an insights business, I’m excited to build our market knowledge through membership, which in turn, we can deploy in the work we do for a wide range of lenders right across the industry.”
The recently established professional research services firm has become the latest associate member of IMLA, which now has a combined total of 65 full and associate members, consisting of more than 50 banks, building societies, and specialist lenders.
IMLA’s membership includes 18 of the 20 largest UK mortgage lenders and accounts for about 90% of mortgage lending.
