Praxis has announced it is to offer its point-of-sale (POS) system to brokers for free.
The system, which gives a formal mortgage offer in around quarter-of-an-hour, was launched on 4 September, with packager Praxis clinching the UK’s first instant deal.
Praxis has revealed over 80 per cent of brokers who have used the system reused it within the first week.

Complete Mortgage and Loan Services (CMLS) is to host a non-conforming roundtable event at St Mary’s Football Stadium in Southampton on Tuesday 19 September, open to all brokers that have pre-registered on CMLS’ website.
Representatives from Salt, GMAC-RFC, Unity Homeloans, edeus, db mortgages, Future and Kensington will hold 15-minute workshops with groups of brokers. A keynote industry speaker will also make a presentation on non-conforming marketing and lead generation.
Abbey enhances
remortgage service
Abbey has launched a property survey service for remortgage customers.
Clients who take its ‘Remortgage Solution’ package as part of their mortgage will have their survey instructed on the same day Abbey receives a full mortgage application online, which the lender says will reduce the time taken to issue mortgage offers.
