Paymentshield completes MBO
The management team of Paymentshield has completed a buyout of its founder shareholders, Richard Riding and Patricia Cottrell. Bank of Scotland Corporate which provided an integrated debt and equity package, together with private equity raised by the management team, supported the MBO.
1.2 million still paying top whack
Charcol has revealed that 1.2 million people who took out aa mortgage in the early nineties have not reviewed it since.
Ray Boulger, senior technical manager of Charcol, commented: “We’re urging more than a million victims from the era of record high rates who have still not remortgaged to consider moving to one of the cheaper, far more flexible deals now on offer.”
